My Training as a Stylist
After initially becoming a stylist, I decided I wanted to be able to provide special services that not everyone else was doing. I attended a five day course at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in San Francisco, soon thereafter over the course of a year and a half went to Los Angeles for three more 5 day courses. These courses have allowed me to experience and to be able to express my creativity through styling hair.
I opened the Avalon Salon in December of 2004, in a charming old California bungalow-style house that we transformed into something truly magical! After operating that salon for over five years, I decided to simplify and opened up a small, private hair studio. Here I can express my true passion – enjoying what I can provide for people one on one.
Life Coaching
In 2009, I attended a seminar with Life and Business Strategist Tony Robbins that literally changed my life! After attending two more events, I made the decision to not only give back by volunteering my time during the California events, but to learn more about what he does to help others. I am a Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming, Timeline Therapy, and Hypnotherapy.
The location I have now is the best one I have had so far. My salon is open and airy, and has plenty of convenient parking. I always look forward to seeing my regular clients as well as meeting new ones and making new friends!
